Dermactin-TS Pore Refining Facial Sheet Masks - Review

Having heard so many great things about sheet masks, I've been on the hunt for good yet affordable versions all over the place. Some look great, but I really am in no position to be spending £10+ on a single mask!

Enter the unlikely hero - TK Maxx. A new store has recently opened up in my home town and I have recently come to realise how many fantastic beauty products they stock. The thing about TK Maxx is that you have to keep checking for new things every time, and often once they are gone, they aren't always restocked.

Last week I managed to pick up these Dermactin-TS Pore Refining Facial Sheet Masks for £4.99. It was the last box on the shelf so I figured they must have been pretty popular! You get 4 masks in the box, so it worked out pretty good value for money.

The fabric mask was cut into two halves with all of the appropriate breathing/seeing holes so you can comfortably sit with the mask on whilst getting on with other things! I did struggle a little getting the eye flaps in the correct place as you can probably see in the photo but I put that down to me being a sheet mask noob. There was practically no liquid left in the sachet which is a good sign, as it had all been soaked in by the mask so I didn't feel as though there was wastage. The mask felt nice and cool on my skin and began to tingle from about 5 minutes in - not uncomfortably so, though.

For my first sheet mask experience, I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. My skin did look visibly brighter and more luminous, my pores were visibly reduced and my skin was beautifully soft. Overall I really enjoyed the experience of having the sheet mask on - I have often been a bit funny about face masks in general as some I have used in the past have been really heavy and gloopy and not that fun to use, but this one didn't feel that way at all.

If you are new to sheet masks, I would definitely recommend trying them - I am excited to make them a more permanent member of my skincare routine. There are so many different types of mask depending on what your skin issues are and they don't need to cost a bomb if you look in the right places.
